Welcome to Squeegee Life. We're a rag tag crew of window cleaners who want to bring some fun and unique items to the window cleaning world. Made up of TJ Gilbert, Marc Tanner and Seth Byers. Our aim is to provide you with quality products and a forum to help you with any of your window cleaning questions or if you just wanna shoot the shit. Thank you for visiting us!
What is squeegee life?
Squeegee Life was an idea back in 2017 between Marc Tanner and Tj Gilbert after an exchange of work shirts through the mail. Once Tj seen Marc’s shirt and saw the phrase “ Squeegee Life” the gears started turning. Why not create a brand of gear to show people you’re proud of the trade we all chose to provide for our families. Taking design cues from some of his favorite brands and childhood memories we created some cool apparel that is always evolving with the times. Soon after that introduction Tim Huber a fellow window cleaner urged Tj to create a Youtube channel which ultimately led to the creation of the “Squeegee Life” podcast. Four years later Seth, Marc, Tim, and Tj have recorded almost 200 live episodes as of March 2021.
Our motivation is to create helpful content awesome window cleaner swag and provide a platform for high quality boutique window cleaner gear designed by professional window cleaners by professional window cleaners. We will provide a place for our fellow cleaners to Vet their ideas share their ideas and also sell their ideas. All while enjoying each other having a laugh every Wednesday evening on our live podcasts.

the men behind the brand
Marc Tanner the elder statesmen of the crew is a second generation window cleaner from Florida. Has been cleaning glass since the late 80’s. A tinkerer at heart Marc is on the forefront in the industry when it comes to glass restoration and scratch removal. His techniques and glass restoration products will soon be available here and other retailers very soon. And loves a good fart joke :)
Seth Byers was a late edition to the squeegee life gang after a meeting in Kansas City MO. A business owner from Massachusetts who started out in the copper roof trade then window cleaner, Seth has almost two decades of window cleaning experience and a wealth of knowledge on the trade. Seth has plans to add to the squeegee life portfolio with some products that every business owner will want to have. He’s a welcome edition to the show that centers the group but also has no problem telling you where the bull shits.
Tj Gilbert is a former Carpenter turned window cleaner by pure happenstance. After being asked by a friend to help clean some glass one weekend almost two decades later now also owns his own window cleaning company a primarily a family ran business likes to design unique T shirts to show off his pride for his trade which he credits for changing his life window cleaning.
